Immediately after break of fast on the last day of Ramadhan, messages from friends and relatives came in alternately. Almost everyone in my phonebook messaged me except for one person. The person I expected to be one of the senders didn't turn up in my inbox. Sadness filled my night.
The morning of 1st Syawal greeted me. I looked at my cellphone. No messages or missed calls from the person I have waited for. After the Aidilfitri prayers, I went to get my cellphone. Still not a single message from the person I've long-waited for.
Relatives come and go, messages came inbox and went to sent messages, but still no message from the person. My Hari Raya wasn't really that fun. I waited and waited and waited. The ringtone that I have been waiting for still didn't sound at my cellphone.
After the feast is over at my grandma's house, I felt very lonely. Suddenly, the long-awaited ringtone sounded at my cellphone. Oh my gosh!! The name appeared "My Cute Smiley Darling". Finally he called at 1530 on the 1st of Syawal. I almost cried upon hearing his voice.
"Selamat Hari Raya kak! Minta maaf le selama ni kalau ada pe2 kesalahan." My tears nearly trickled down. I uttered the same words towards him. I was really happy. At last the long-awaited call came. My dull and moody day bloomed into a hot and clear day.
From then on, I enjoyed my entire day. The phone call really brought happiness to me. (^_^)
